BRGF
Backward Region Grant Fund is a scheme designed to redress regional imbalance in development. This has replaced the erstwhile Rastriya Sam Vikas Yojana which has been closed and subsumed into the BRGF programme. The fund provides financial resources for supplementing and conversing existing developmental inflow into 250 identified district in the country so as to bridge critical gaps in the local infrastructure and other development requirements that are not being adequately met through existing inflows.

23 – Martam Graam Panchayat has been implementing these schemes since 2009 – 10. Under the scheme, the GPU has distributed high yielding verity of Milking cows to the progressive dairy farmers and distributed Piglet to the farmer of the GPU as well as utilized the Fund on Construction of Crematorium Shed and Waiting Shed within the GPU area.

Chief Minister Rural Housing Mission (CMRHM)
The State Government Lunched the ambitions “Mission Slum Free State” on 22nd September 2010 with vision of eradicating the curse of poverty for the status one of the important milestones in the journey is towards freedom from poverty and housing for all. Solved to large extent due to the consistent high priority given to the housing sanction by the State Government over the year.

Reconstruction of Earthquake Damage Rural House
An earthquake measuring 7.8 richter scales jolted the state on 18th September 2011 which played havoc causing widespread damaged and took heavy toll of life and property all across the state. Many house within GPU also severally damaged. As a measure to reconstruct the state prove the resilience, the state Government with support from Central Government started REDRH Mission among many other steps in this regards.
